In the world of artistic swimming, swimsuits are far more than simple outfits: they reflect a choreography, an identity and a story. Today we take you behind the scenes of a unique project by SynchrOLoc, supported by Tissus Print, from the first sketch to the dive into the pool.

Step 1 – Inspiration and sketch

Everything starts with an idea. Laurence Caballe, founder of SynchrOLoc, designs an exclusive concept for a new artistic swimming costume. A synchro mum, passionate swimmer and creator since 2016, Laurence offers a complete service of design, production, rental and sale of personalised swimsuits. Each piece is conceived as an original creation, tailored to the athlete who will wear it.

Pencil in hand, she sketches lines, selects colours, imagines shapes that embody dynamism, elegance and fluidity. This creative stage is crucial: it is where the soul of the swimsuit is born, turning inspiration into the first tangible strokes.

Step 2 – From drawing to print-ready file

Once the idea is defined, comes the technical phase. Laurence transforms her sketch into a digital file optimised for textile printing. This file contains patterns, colour placements and all the guides required for cutting the future swimsuit.

This vectorisation step requires expertise: one must consider the elasticity of lycra fabric, anticipate distortions during fitting and optimise resolution for flawless rendering. It is a key stage, as the final result directly depends on the precision of the prepared design.

Step 3 – Lycra fabric printing at Tissus Print

This is where we come in! The file is entrusted to Tissus Print for printing on our premium lycra fabric, specially developed for swimsuit production.

Thanks to our advanced digital printing technology, we guarantee outstanding results. Colours are vivid and true to the original design, the fabric retains its stretch and comfort, and the print resists chlorine and intensive pool use.

Our lycra becomes a bespoke canvas, ready to be turned into a unique costume. The quality of our textile printing allows creators like Laurence to bring their boldest visions to life, without compromise on durability or comfort.

Step 4 – From workshop to sewing machine

Once the printed fabric is delivered, Laurence begins production in her Carros workshop. Careful cutting, precise assembly, reinforced seams… every step requires expertise and skill.
The leotard gradually takes shape, perfectly fitting the swimmers’ bodies. Laurence pays particular attention to finishing: flat seams to prevent irritation, strategic reinforcements to withstand intense movements, and adjustments for both comfort and style.

Step 5 – The final result: a swimsuit ready for the aquatic stage

After several hours of meticulous work, the swimsuit is complete. Unique, vibrant and perfectly adapted for performance, it is ready to shine in the water.

For Laurence, each creation is both an artistic and technical adventure. For us at Tissus Print, it is a source of pride to contribute to this project with our textile printing expertise. The final result highlights the power of collaboration between artistic creativity and technical know-how.
