Tissus Print offers you the possibility to choose the type of finish of your custom pareo. The finishing of its edges plays a crucial role both in aesthetics and in the durability of your creation. At Tissus Print, we offer you three types of finishes, each offering a neat finish and adapted to your specific needs. Here is an overview of the three options:
Single hem (flat)
Simple hem is a basic but elegant finish, where the edges of the fabric are folded and sewn flat. This finish is ideal if you are looking for a clean and minimalist style. It is also suitable for light pareos or thin fabrics, offering a discreet seam while ensuring a good finish. Economic and rapid, the simple hem is perfect for creations that do not require too much visible finish, while maintaining a nice look.
Tight overjet hem
The tight overjet hem is a robust and neat finish that consists of cover the edges of the fabric with a stitch. This type of finish is particularly recommended for fabrics that are at risk of severing or for frequent use, as it allows to maintain the shape of the pareo while strengthening the strength of the edges. The tight overjet hem is also an excellent choice for a slightly more sophisticated look, while guaranteeing the durability of the product. This finish is not recommended for dark colours.
Bumblebee (machine roll)
Button or rollover is a delicate, elegant and robust finish, where the edges of the fabric are rolled and then sewn with a small stitch. This finish gives your pareo a refined, clean and light look. It is ideal for thin or smoother fabrics, creating a lightness effect while preserving the integrity of the fabric. Because of the careful work it requires, this technique is more expensive than other finishes. If you want a pareo that combines finesse and originality, the button hem is the perfect choice.
