Creton cotton is a 100% cotton fabric appreciated for its robustness and slightly granular texture. Its tight canvas weaving gives it excellent hold and optimal durability, while remaining flexible enough to adapt to various textile projects. Unlike more fluid fabrics such as poplin, the creton has a more rigid structure, ideal for creations requiring good stability.

Ideal washing recommendations to preserve textile printing :

Temperature & program

• Maximum 30 °C, in a delicate or short cycle, without pre-washing.

• Avoiding programmes "cotton", "intensive" or with strong spin (>800 rpm). Some cycles "fast" or "intensive" may briefly exceed 30 °C.

Laundry

• Use soft laundry without bleaching agents, optical azurants or aggressive enzymes.

• Avoid powerful softeners and removers.

What to avoid

• No bleach or active oxygen products (such as Vanish).

• No prolonged soaking.

• No dry washing (unless specified compatible).

Drying

• Drying in the open air, in the shade (avoid direct exposure to the sun, especially for dark inks).

• If ironing: medium iron on reverse, without steam at the start.
